1. No Therapist–Client Relationship

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. Visiting this website, contacting us through the website, or submitting a form does not create a therapist–client, counselor–client, or any other professional relationship between you and The Banyan Tree. A professional relationship is established only after you have been accepted as a client and have signed the appropriate consent forms.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Care

Content on this website is not a substitute for individualized professional mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified mental health professional regarding any mental health concerns you may have. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on this website.

3. Crisis and Emergency Information

This website is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are having thoughts of harming yourself or others:

The Banyan Tree is not a crisis center. We do not monitor website forms or email 24/7.

The Banyan Tree provides counseling services to clients located in the State of Georgia. We are licensed to practice in Georgia only. By scheduling services through this website, you represent that you are located in Georgia or will be at the time of your session.

5. Use of the Website
