Are you feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts or emotions? Are you having trouble coping with life stressors? Do you feel unseen or unheard? Maybe you feel like your anxiety or depression is an “invalid” emotion. I believe that you should be heard. My hope is to give you a safe place to process whatever life has thrown your way.
As a clinician, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, offer empathetic listening, and facilitate individual and relational growth. I want every client—regardless of age or ability—to feel truly seen and supported. I believe it is my role to create a completely non-judgmental space for you to process and grow. The more we can be vulnerable in expressing our true (and sometimes messy) selves, the closer we get to living life more freely and authentically.
My Education
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of Georgia. I am now pursuing my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am working towards getting my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).
What to Expect from Me
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect in effective therapy. I want to provide a safe, supportive environment where you are free to be your authentic self. I believe that you know yourself best and I want to help you accomplish your goals by providing support, encouragement, resources, skills, and a listening ear. I work with all clients of all ages and abilities. I look forward to working with you!
