Do you feel drained by day-to-day activities of life? Are you struggling to find meaning in your life and actions? Do you feel misunderstood or shut out by your peers, family, or colleagues? Are you anxious, depressed, or dissatisfied with what life has offered you thus far? Are you struggling with your relationship with your body? Do you just need someone to listen to you? Whenever you are ready, I am here to support and empower you.
As a result of my personal experiences with the mental health treatment process, my goals in counseling you are creating a feeling of mutual understanding, reminding you that your voice matters, and helping you find the tools to create the life you want. Pursuing counseling can be intimidating or embarrassing, but know that I will always be proud of you choosing to help yourself.
My previous work experiences in childcare and the public education system sparked my desire to help others find a feeling of agency in their life as a means to solve their problems. I have facilitated support groups for women who are survivors of intimate partner violence as well as a cognitive dissonance group that addresses body image dissatisfaction in adolescent/adult women. I am Safe-Space certified by the University of Georgia and aim to create a supportive therapy experience for clients who identify as LGBTQIA+.
I completed my Bachelor of the Arts degree at Furman University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I am currently working on earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Georgia.
What to Expect from Me

While meeting with me you can expect a peaceful, judgment-free atmosphere in which you are free to explore your thoughts and feelings with encouragement to glean insight about how you can give your life meaning. My hopes are to make you feel safe, understood, and valued while we grow together.
